This past week McKay, Addy and I went to Grandma Sharol & Grandpa Ray's house for a few days while Matt was out of town for work. While we were there, Marci's kids came and we went "camping" on Grandpa's land by the Bear River. The best part was that Addy, McKay and I got to go back to Grandma and Grandpa's house to sleep! At least I was glad to have a bed to sleep in. We went back in the morning for breakfast and more fun. The kids fished in the eddy, went for rides in the rowboat, and rode Grandpa's four wheeler. It was a great time. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Memories
As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you (if you already haven't). It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
Kids are great!
Yesterday Addy wanted to have some friends over to "swim" (aka: splash around in the water). Our cute neighbors came over and they had a lot of fun. Also, a couple of nights ago, Addy started dressing up in dishtowels (yes, dishtowels, never mind the fact that she has a whole closet full of dress up clothes). McKay wanted to get in on the act, so here is a picture of McKay Superhero. I don't know what Matt and I ever did to entertain ourselves before we had kids. They are so hilarious. They can find anything around the house and figure out some way to pretend it's something much more exciting that what it really is. I wish I had the imagination and energy they have.

I finally did it!
Well, I finally decided to join the masses and create a blog. It seems like a good way to share what's happening in our family with friends and family who aren't nearby. I can't guarantee that I'll keep it super updated, but I'll try. This summer has been pretty busy with extended family vacations. We were with my family at Bear Lake at first of July, and just got back from Colter Bay on Saturday with Matt's family. It's been a lot of fun, but I'm ready to have some time at home with not much going on. Here are some pictures of our vacations. The one of me carrying McKay is in Minnetonka Cave - McKay was about done with it by that point and wouldn't stay in the backpack any longer, so this was the alternative. It was a little interesting carrying a wiggling 19 month old through a somewhat dark and slippery cave with lots of stairs. Oh well, it's all part of the experience I guess. Addy and McKay had a great time playing in the water at Bear Lake, and were very excited to play with their cousins. We also had a lot of fun camping at Colter Bay, canoeing on Jackson Lake, and visiting Yellowstone and Jackson.
